Privacy Policy

PrepWithNoa helps you prepare for jobs based on what you can actually prove. Your data exists to power your own preparation — nothing more. We never sell it and never use it for advertising.
The short version
- We store your email (for your account) and the career data you create — your resume, skills, evidence, interviews and preferences — so your profile follows you across devices.
- We use it only to run the product for you. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across other apps or sites.
- Your resume is sent to our AI provider only to process a request (e.g. tailor a resume), and is not used to train their models.
- You can export or permanently delete all of your data at any time, from inside the app.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and (if you set one) your name.
- Career content you provide: your resume text, skills, and job preferences.
- Activity you generate in the app: skill evidence, assessment and interview results, training progress, saved jobs, and your Career Twin/profile history.
- Usage counters: how many AI activities you've used this month, to apply your plan's limits.
We do not collect your device location. Any location used for job search is only text you type yourself — we never read your device GPS.
How we use it
- To build and update your Skill Profile and power features you ask for (job matching, resume tailoring, interviews, assessments, training).
- To keep your profile in sync across your devices.
- To enforce your plan's usage limits and process subscription payments.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who we share it with
- Our AI provider (Anthropic): the specific text needed for a request (e.g. your resume for tailoring, your answers for grading) is sent to process that request and returned to you. It is not used to train their models.
- Job data providers (e.g. USAJOBS): receive only your search terms (a keyword and, if you type one, a location) — never your resume, profile or interview data.
- Payment processor (Stripe): handles subscription billing; we never see or store your full card details.
- Infrastructure: our database and hosting providers store your data encrypted at rest and in transit.
Security & retention
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We keep it while your account is active. Job listings from third-party providers are refreshed and expired according to those providers' terms. When you delete your account, your data is permanently erased.
Your rights & controls
- Access & export: download everything we hold about you as a JSON file, from Account → “Export my data”.
- Delete: permanently erase your account and all associated data, from Account → “Delete account”. This is irreversible.
- Turn off personalization: disable personalized job recommendations in your job preferences.
- Correct: update your resume, skills and preferences at any time.
Children
PrepWithNoa is intended for adults in the workforce and is not directed to children under 16.
Honest AI
Noa never invents employers, titles, dates, degrees, metrics, projects, certifications or skills. Match and readiness scores are compatibility estimates based on your own evidence — never a hiring probability or a guarantee of employment.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
